Furthermore, these consumers travel with monetary cash whenever they want to purchase agricultural products in a physical market making them prone to attacks by armed robbers. These ugly developments necessitated the development of a business to consumers (B2C) electronic commerce with Laravel, MySQL at the back end and Vue.js, C-sharp at the front end. Methodology:This study emanated from the survey conducted on a population of two hundred and fifty (250) farmers/consumers in Nigeria selected randomly from the north central states and south eastern states of Nigeria, with a sample size of 154 participants determined using Slovin’s formula, since the population size is very small. Questionnaires were administered to the participants to ascertain their level of involvement in the purchase and sale of agricultural products across the country and the ordeals they encounter. The new system was analyzed by employing the robust features of object oriented analysis design and methodology using the unified modeling language. Results:Consequently, the application developed has secured payment gateway with a debit card that processes the transactions between the consumer and the farmer through their various financial institutions and is equipped with delivery tracker that enhances timely delivery of products. Conclusion: Thus, this developed application proved to be effective in curbing insecurity to the consumers and also improves market visibility of farmers’ agricultural products in Nigeria.
